Simple Hexagon Flower Coaster - FREE Pattern

I made these flower coasters last night, I apologise if it's similar to something someone else has done, but I didn't follow a pattern at all, I just made it up. I wrote down what I did in case anyone would like to know. I apologise in advance for any errors, I just wrote it out quickly, let me know if you need clarification!

Handcrafted Hanging Stars

My mum gave some shiny ribbon still brand new with the tags on, it looked perfect to make some decorations so I made these hanging stars. My friend Hazel saw them and asked me to make some more for her, so I have another order for my little shop!

4 handcrafted hanging stars in white gold ribbon
I used my 6mm hook, which worked well with these hanging stars. I just used my simple 5 pointed star pattern, plus and extra 16 ch for the hanging loop. Making the hanging stars were simple enough, the tricky part was sewing in the ends. After I was nearly finished, I realised it was easier to simply weave them in with a 4mm hook.

I think they look really cute, what do you think?

Three Round Triangle, free pattern

I can't wait for my camera to get back from the shop! I hope you don't mind the photos I've taken with my old camera. I made this three round triangle to see if I could do a third round on my two round triangles. Let me write the patter for you. Because I am still learning to write patterns, please let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Five Pointed Star, free pattern

I included a free sample in with the package I sent to my first real customer and decided it best to pop in some similar items but of different shapes so she can see what else I can make. Included was my attempt at a five pointed star.

I included these 6 extra shapes, as well as the tiny butterfly I did yesterday. The circle simply has 12 dc in the 1st round and 24 in the second. The square is a 2 round granny square. The snowflake is the 1st 2 rounds of a snowflake I found at Attic 24, which you can choose to have 2 or 3 rounds. The star and 2 different kinds if triangles are my own patterns. I'm still working on writing the triangle patterns, but here is the star pattern.
